Mrs. Hubert joined Resurrection Catholic School in 2020. She grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School and John Carroll Catholic High School. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Piano Performance from Birmingham-Southern College and Manhattan School of Music. She began her teaching career at the University of Alabama Birmingham, Birmingham-Southern College Conservatory, and Indian Springs School where she was the choral pianist. Mrs. Hubert has been an adjunct at Jacksonville University since 2008, and from 2012-2020 was also Staff Collaborative Pianist, playing for hundreds of programs with University choirs, faculty, students, and guest artists. In 2019 she earned her Graduate Certificate in Arts in Medicine from the University of Florida’s Center for Arts in Medicine, and teaches an Arts in Medicine Service Learning course at JU. She is a member of UF CAM's Covid Response Performing Public Health Working Group, and performs as a hospital musician with Body and Soul: The Art of Healing. Mrs. Hubert teaches Music Theory II, III and IV at Florida State College at Jacksonville, and is Director of Music at Christ the King Catholic Church where she directs the Childrens', Adult, Filipino, and Handbell Choirs.
